My loooong week

I had my dreaded knee surgery this past Tuesday & boy am I ever glad I had no idea how tough it was gonna be or I probably would have put it off even longer. I feel like the healing process is going to take forever which stinks since I wanted it to be all better yesterday! Anyone that knows me, knows how very little patience I have. Here's hoping that I'll show nothing but improvement this week & will be back to my "busy old self" in no time.

Fun with altered fashion pics

I am really new at this blog thing, like lastnight new! I thought i'd try to add some of my recent projects i've done. I guess we'll see how easily i pick up new
tricks (or not). Ha. These Altered Jumbo cards is where the idea of making an
album/binder for safe-keeping came from. The images I completely altered from a few of my favorite fashion magazines. All you need is Gesso, paints, & a creative imagination. My fashion Altered cards are probably one of my favorite things to do.
I hope to be teaching this technique in one of my upcoming classes.

Upcoming class

It's been two years since my last teaching job with Recollections closed. I loved teaching but I loved shopping there even more. Now I'm back at it again, shopping & teaching at Scrapdoodles in Fredricksburg. I'm very excited to show you this pic of my first class that I'll be teaching on Sunday,September 27th! I'll be showing you how to design a vintage themed ephemera cover, how to sew pockets on your inside pages for safe keeping of all your atc collection, & we'll be using the Bind-it-all to finish off your album. It'll be great fun & you'll get to take home a one of a kind album. Hope to see you there!
